Blood test
Had my first blood test at my NHS GP since I blew up my shared care agreement between them & GenderCare earlier this year & moved entirely to DIY HRT.
I should get the results in a few working days
The trick to getting them to agree was sending an email to the practice manager, asking them to run it by the senior partner(s) & linking them to GMC guidance on patients self-medicating.

Blood test
If you're struggling to get your own NHS GP to agree to monitor your blood, I recommend persuing a similar tactic.
If they refuse, ask them to reconsider & to put their full reasons for refusing in writing on your file.
If they won't reconsider, advise that you will sadly be forced to raise a formal complaint against them with the GMC for a major failing their duty of care to a patient.
Some will dig their heels in, but others will suddenly become supportive.

A key GMC link is this webpage:
https://www.gmc-uk.org/ethical-guidance/ethical-hub/trans-healthcare#Prescribing
Look under "What to do if your patient is self-medicating" if you're also on DIY HRT.
It doesn't explictly state that they should offer blood tests, but it definitely hints at it.
As bad as it sounds, as a trans person in the UK, you may have to weaponise GPs' fears of being reported to the GMC to get the care you need if they try to refuse you basic care
